STORY
My Story
After graduating in Communication Sciences from the University of Bologna, I spent more than ten years working in the events and communications industry, managing corporate events and media relations for an international company. In 2017, I turned my passion for planning and design into a profession and founded Chiara Wedding.
Today, I work with both Italian and international couples, creating bespoke weddings throughout Emilia-Romagna and across Italy.
My approach combines a structured planning process, a trusted network of carefully selected professionals and meticulous attention to every detail. I believe every wedding should reflect the people at its heart.
That is why I do not offer predefined packages or standard solutions.
Every celebration is designed around each couple’s story, priorities and vision.

Why hire a wedding planner?
Planning a wedding involves hundreds of decisions, coordinating multiple professionals and managing timelines, budgets and countless details that often remain invisible to the couple.

How does the planning journey begin?
Every project starts with listening. Before discussing venues, suppliers or design concepts, I want to understand your story, your priorities and the way you envision your wedding day.
From that first conversation, a truly bespoke project begins to take shape, designed around your personality, your vision and your agreed investment.
What sets you apart from others?

Do you offer standard packages?
No. Every wedding is unique, and my service is entirely tailored to each couple, adapting to your needs, your style and your investment.
How do you select the suppliers?
Every recommendation is based on a balance of aesthetics, quality, reliability, personality and budget. My goal is to build a team that perfectly reflects your vision and works together seamlessly.
Can we choose our own suppliers?
My priority is to guarantee every couple the highest organisational and service standards.
For this reason, the key professionals involved in the wedding are selected from my trusted network of suppliers, built and refined over many years of experience.
Working with professionals whose standards and working methods I know thoroughly allows me to ensure quality, reliability and smooth coordination throughout the entire planning process and on the wedding day itself.
I am always happy to consider suggestions or special requests from my couples and evaluate them on a case-by-case basis, whenever they are consistent with the project and with the level of quality I strive to deliver.
Can you work with a defined budget?
Absolutely. Establishing the budget from the very beginning is one of the most important steps of the planning process, allowing every decision to be made with clarity and consistency.
Because my goal is to provide a highly personalised service and maintain the standards that define my work, I only take on projects that meet a minimum level of investment, allowing me to create a wedding that is thoughtfully designed and executed to the highest standard.
During our first meeting, I will be happy to discuss your plans and understand together whether your expectations and investment are aligned with the experience you wish to create.
Do you offer wedding day coordination only?
No. My planning service is designed as a complete journey, guiding each couple from the initial concept through to the full management of the wedding day.
Over the years, I have developed a structured planning method that combines strategy, design, supplier selection, operational coordination and event management into one seamless process.
For this reason, I do not offer wedding day coordination as a standalone service for weddings planned by others or organised independently by the couple.
I believe that truly effective coordination can only come from an in-depth understanding of the project, its dynamics and the people involved, built through a shared planning journey from the very beginning.
This continuity is what allows me to guarantee the level of quality and organisation that defines my work.
Do you also plan destination weddings?
Yes. I regularly work with international couples choosing Italy for their wedding, guiding them through every stage of the planning process, both remotely and on site.
Where do you work?
I mainly work throughout Emilia-Romagna, a region I know deeply, but I also plan weddings across Italy, selecting the most suitable team for each individual project.
How many weddings do you take on each year?
I intentionally limit the number of weddings I accept each year, allowing me to dedicate the time, attention and personal involvement that every bespoke project deserves.
How far in advance should we get in touch?
Every wedding has different requirements, but starting early offers greater flexibility and more possibilities. That said, I am always happy to evaluate each request based on its timeline.
How can we understand if we are the right fit?
I believe that mutual trust is the foundation of every successful collaboration.
For this reason, before any agreement is formalised, I always offer a complimentary, no-obligation introductory meeting. It is an opportunity for you to share your story, your vision and your expectations for the wedding.
At the same time, it allows me to explain my planning approach and for us to understand together whether I am the right person to guide you through this journey.
The meeting can take place either in person or via video call, depending on your location and preferences.
